Many web searchers have found this paintball mod and wondered what it was for. The Tacamo Handguard Adapter will attach to any paintball gun that uses model 98 barrel threads and allow the gun to use the shroud from the US Army Alpha Black. This device was originally made for the Tacamo Magazine feed kit. Since the magazine kit is the same for the Alpha Black and the Tippmann 98 Custom, this block needed to be added to the Alpha Black version of the kit so the front shroud would still work. An added bonus of the adapter is that it has a small section of 1″ rail on the top for mounting gear.

Surely you’ve heard about the new magazine fed conversion kits by Tacamo. If not well then read on.
This conversion kit includes everything you need to convert a Tippmann 98 Custom from a regular hopper fed paintball gun to a magazine fed paintball gun. If you’ve looked at how the feed port is integrated in to the body then you can tell that this is no small feat. The kit includes a new body for the gun that puts the feed port under the gun instead of on the side. It also has the magazine mount and a 20 round magazine too. You can even upgrade your magazine to a large Box Magazine that mounts to to the same position underneath of the gun. The Nautilus Box magazine holds up to 200 rounds.

End Caps – There are now 3 different end caps for the 98 guns. They are all interchangeable. You can use any one of them on any Tippmann 98 Paintball Gun.

These adapters are a great way to make use of barrels not currently compatible with your marker…compatible. Incorporating a tighter diameter than other brands, the iSwitch creates a seal between the adapter and the marker’s front bolt O-ring. Just arrived. We’ll be taking pictures and should have them up on the sites soon. Here’s the cocking handle on Lapco’s site. Lapco has long made a stainless steel version of this cocking handle too. Now these knobs are basically for looks but they do have a nice shape to them so you never have to worry about tearing up your fingers when cocking your Tippmann 98. This is the original Tippman 98 cocking handle. It’s normally covered by a little rubber cap but those can fall off and you’re left with this serrated handle. These handles, both the stainless steel and the aluminum version, will fit on ALL of the Tippmann 98 series gun from the original Model 98 up to the 98 Custom Pro Platinum gun. They’ll also fit on the new US Army Project Salvos and and US Army Alpha Blacks.
