New TPX Pistol CO2 Upgrade Kit It appears the dimensions for CO2 cartridges vary far beyond our initial tests, and have resulted in some cartridges not puncturing. Although we tested numerous brands, we have discovered that certain types of cartridges may not puncture on the first pull. If you’ve noticed this issue, please contact us at 1-800-533-4831 or visit www.tippmann.com, click on the CO2 Upgrade Kit link and simply complete the appropriate TPX form with your serial number. We’ll send you a free CO2 Upgrade Kit including a new cap with an adjustable set screw that adjusts for various CO2 cartridge sizes, as well as a new, easy-to-install pin assembly. If you have experienced any other issues, whether it is velocity, efficiency, or paint breakage related, we encourage you to visit our new TPX Tech Support program on the Tippmann web site to learn more about troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of your TPX Pistol. There are also some helpful tips on how to correctly pick paint and properly load a magazine. Living Legends II Paintball Scenario Game
The Living Legends Paintball Scenario game is being held this weekend at CPX Sports in Joliet, IL. The field is just south of Chicago. I’ll be attending the game and showing off one of the new Tippmann TPX Pistols that are now starting to arrive in our warehouse. If you’re planning to attend the game make sure to look me up.

CPX Sports and Tippmann have teamed up with Scenario Paintball producer Kerry “Viper” Rosenberry to bring the paintball community the second installment of the immensely popular 24-hr Scenario Game honoring the “Living Legends” of paintball on May 29-31, 2009 at CPX Sports in Joliet, IL. CPX will have free camping available beginning Friday, May 29. CPX Sports is a 143-acre, $6.5M paintball park located in the Chicago suburb of Joliet, IL, and is widely regarded as one of the nation’s premier facilities. The field is conveniently located less than one hour from both O’Hare and Midway airports.
To encourage players to bring a friend or 1st timer, CPX and Tippmann will be offering Free Rentals to Living Legends Paintball Event. The free basic rental equipment will be made available to paid, pre-registered players as part of the “Bring a 1st Timer” promotion while supplies last.

Tippmann TPX Pistol Release Date Update

Just a quick update. I just spoke with Tippmann Sports about the release date of the Tippmann TPX Pistol paintball gun. The new official release date is the Last Week of April, 2009. They said they are on schedule for that and do not forsee any further delays.
We’ve been offering a pre-order on the TPX pistol on our site. That package comes with the marker, a carrying case, and 2 magazines. We ordered LOTS of these paintball pistols. We have not yet sold through all of our initial order so you can still pre-order and be able to get your gun as soon as they’re released.
Our pre-order page now includes easy links to add TPX accessories like the TPX Leg Holster, Hammerhead Pistol Barrel, 12 gram co2 cartridges, or extra pistol magazines.

I first saw the TPX at it’s mysterious debut at Oklahoma D-Day 2008. Just a shadow then. Now, 10 months later, you get to put one in your hands.
The TPX .68 Caliber Paintball Pistol is an exciting new compact design. It’s light weight design is easy to maintain and is more customizable than other paintball pistols. It uses 12 gram CO2 cartridges but can also be converted to accept a remote line connection. You can fit Hammer Head barrels and muzzle breaks to it also.
